ABOUT CHOICE FILMS

Choice Films Inc. is a multimedia production company dedicated to creating new and exciting theatrical experiences, transcending generation gaps and speaking to our contemporary way of life. The managing partners of the Choice Films team are Tony Glazer, Summer Moore and Patty Parker.

Tony Glazer is the co-founder, director and lead writer of the sketch comedy groups TUNE iN and STOMA. His groups have appeared throughout New York City playing in comedy clubs such as Caroline's on Broadway, Stand Up N.Y. and Gotham Comedy Club as well as in theatre spaces like The Miranda Theatre and The Currican. One of his screenplays, Somewhere in Between, was previously optioned as an independent feature film by Main Street Productions. His stage plays include Rumors in the Alphabet Playground, In The Daylight, Narrative Intervention, and SAFE (recently published by Samuel French) which was co-written with Anthony Ruivivar of NBC's Third Watch, and premiered at the Jose Quinterro Theatre in New York in June and July of 2003. Tony received his BFA in Acting from Boston University and has also studied with Maggie Flanigan at the Esper Studio in New York. Choice Films Inc. has optioned his feature film, For the Children ("FTC"), which is currently in development and which Glazer is slated to direct.

Summer Moore - A graduate of Circle in the Square Theatre School (New York), Summer also studied at NYU, The Barrow Group, The Film Center and the American Musical Dramatic Academy (on scholarship). Summer is a Managing Partner of Choice Films (and the founder of its pre-cursor, Choice Productions), which has produced various multi-media theatre and film projects in New York and Tennessee. CHOICE'S first theatrical production, Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, had a successful run at The Mint Theatre Space off-Broadway. Shortly following, CHOICE produced a dual run of Between the Lines, a multi-media theatre piece combining five one-act plays and five short films, which premiered at the Krider Performing Arts Center in Tennessee before running at Saint Clements Theatre in New York City. Summer then co-produced, co-wrote and co-starred in TUNE iN, an original multimedia sketch comedy show combining theatre and film at Caroline's On Broadway, which played to a sold out audience. Following TUNE iN came Love Angst & the Way In, another multi-media show, at the 78th Street Theatre Lab in New York, followed by the From Stage to Screen Workshop Series entitled Looking for Limerance at the Trilogy Theatre. Summer can be seen and heard in various television and radio commercial spots (over 60 in the last year) and her legit credits include: Stage: Come Back to the 5 & Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean (Mona), Steel Magnolias (Shelby), Five Women Wearing the Same Dress (Georgeanne), Black Comedy (Carol), Guys & Dolls (Sarah Brown), The Fantasticks (Luisa), Paint Your Wagon (Jennifer), Pericles (Dionyza), As You Like It (Celia), Under Milkwood (Myfawny Price). Original Stage Premieres include: Love, Angst & the Way In (Luanne), Tune In (Samantha / Ensemble), Between the Lines (Alex), The Dogs (Jen), Looking for Limerance (Clara). Film & TV Credits: Dellaventura, Love Death & Other Annoyances, Cradle Will Rock, Celebrity, Eden Where I Stand, Couch Confessions, MTV Probe, Among Friends, and The Reunion.

Patty Parker - Previously in Los Angeles, Patty co-founded and served as Managing Director for Sisu Productions, a non-profit theatre company fostering young playwrights and the production of new works. With Sisu she produced and performed in a number of theatre showcases including the West Coast Premiere of Bed of a Poet. Now in New York, Patty recently co-produced, co-wrote and co-starred in TUNE iN, an original multimedia sketch comedy show combining theatre and film at Caroline's On Broadway, which played to a sold out house. Prior to that she teamed with Choice Productions (the pre-cursor to Choice Films) as co-producer of Alan Ball's (American Beauty) Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, in which she also performed at the Mint Space Theatre off-Broadway. Patty graduated with honors from North Carolina State University achieving a BA in Business Management. Other professional studies include training at the Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York, and at the Groundlings Improvisational School in Los Angeles. Patty has performed in many regional and national television commercial spots and voice-over campaigns, and just wrapped filming a feature role in the upcoming indie, The Semantics of Sub-Urban Despair. Most recently of note, she produced and performed in Looking for Limerance, a series of original short plays workshopped to go from stage to screen, at the Trilogy Theatre in Manhattan. Patty also appeared as a reporter on Law & Order, Criminal Intent (NBC).

WRITING & DIRECTING

SAFE (Writer) The Jose Quintero Theatre, NYC
Published by Samuel French. This stageplay thriller, written by Tony Glazer and Anthony Ruivivar (star of NBC'S THIRD WATCH), premiered at the Jose Quintero theatre on 42nd street in June of 2003. Due to its immense popularity, SAFE extended its run for additional weeks in July. Directed by Anthony Ruivivar, SAFE co-starred Tony Award Winner Carlin Glynn, Jason Wiles and Coby Bell (also of THIRD WATCH) and Yvonne Jung. Presented by the Imua Theatre Company.

Looking for Limerance (Writer/Director) The Trilogy Theatre, NYC
A 60 minute collection of seven short plays which were work-shopped in New York while under consideration for production as short and feature films. The plays were: Darn It (Michael Folie), The Tie That Binds (Brent Askari), Perp (Michael Folie), Traded In (Brent Askari), Dust (Michael Folie), Doll Play (Tony Glazer) and Visibly Swollen Joystick Finger (Tony Glazer).

Fistful of Altoids (Writer) Digital Short, shot on location in NYC
A modern-day Western Comedy, FISTFUL was written by Tony Glazer and Andrew Kessler for participation in the Midnight Movie Making Madness short film competition.

Threeway (Writer) 35mm Short Film, shot on location in Los Angeles
This comedy short focuses on the hazards of friendship, dating and three-way calling.

Traded In (Director) Digital Short, shot on location in NJ.
This short film, written by Brent Askari and adapted for the screen by Tony Glazer, centers on rejection, booze, and the pain of friends growing up and sometimes apart. This short film was created for competition submissions.

Gone Blind (Actor/Writer/Director) Digital short, shot on location in NY and NJ.
A short film about the pursuit of love, happiness and public transportation, Gone Blind was written to accompany Love, Angst and the Way In. The film served as a through line for the showcase of short plays by breaking the film into 4 segments shown between each staged piece.

A collection of 10 minute plays by hot new playwrights interwoven with a series of scenes from a Tony Glazer original short film, Love Angst observes with classic humor the universal themes of love and commitment and the inherent fear associated with them.

A multi-media sketch comedy show, TUNE iN is an innovative project combining screwball action comedy, savvy political satire and commercial/television/film parodies, both live and filmed, all choreographed to the manic pace of a typical male holding a remote.

A multi-media sketch comedy group brings its most popular (not to mention hysterical and outrageous) show Off-Broadway to the Currican Theatre.
