Choice Theatricals is the theater production arm of the company and is committed to bringing new plays to the stage and giving emerging and established playwrights the opportunity to realize their work with full productions that will continue to foster their artistic development. Choice Films @ Umbra is our Turnkey Soundstage + Production Facility located in Newburgh NY.  Choice Services LLC (via Below the Line Bootcamp) is the non-profit services branch of the company that works in continuing education for at-risk youth. Together with our financial, advisory and industry partners, Choice Films is dedicated to creating new and exciting works that question, provoke, and ultimately speak to our contemporary way of life.

Tony is an award-winning writer/director/producer and a Managing Partner of Choice Films Inc. and Choice Theatricals. Tony’s stageplays have been produced in New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, England and Canada and published by Samuel French Inc. and Smith & Kraus. Tony adapted/co-wrote and served as an Executive Producer/Showrunner and Series Director for the Amazon Prime television series Big Dogs (2020).  His film credits include; Killing Faith (Producer) Motherland (Producer), A Killer Romance (Writer/Director/Producer), Holly Jolly Christmas (Producer), One Night Stay (Executive Producer), So Fly Christmas (Executive Producer), Daughter of the Bride (Producer), A Holiday Spectacular (Producer), Pinball (Producer), One December Night (Producer), Redemption in Cherry Springs (Producer), The  Winter House (Producer), Dead Sound (Producer/Director), Trick (Production Supervisor), The Scottish Play (Producer), Lost Cat Corona (Producer),  After the Sun Fell (Producer/Director),  Above All Things (Consulting Producer) and Junction, which he wrote, directed, and which won 17 major film festival awards around the country before a national and international theatrical release (int’l title Hostage).  Tony was the Director of the short Trust Me I’m a Lifeguard which premiered at the 2014 TriBeCa Film Festival and of the multi-award winning short, Mired which toured the festival circuit in 2016. Films currently in development include: Miracle at Christmas Village, and After Party. Tony’s plays include: In the Daylight, American Stare, Reading Under the Influence, Stain and The Substance of Bliss. Summer is an award-winning actress/producer and a Managing Partner and founding member of Choice Films Inc. and Choice Theatricals, and a Managing Partner of Umbra Stages in Newburgh, NY.

 

As a producer, she has helmed award-winning independent feature length and short films, Off-Broadway and Regional theater productions, and chaired an annual Celebrity Awards Gala Saluting NY Theatre and Film.  Additionally, Summer served as a Showrunner and Line Producer for a full season of the Amazon Prime television series Big Dogs (2020).  Feature Film projects include: Killing Faith (2024) Motherland (2024) Holly Jolly Christmas (2023) So Fly Christmas (2023) One Night Stay (2023) A Killer Romance (2023) Daughter of the Bride (2022) A Holiday Spectacular (2022), Pinball (2022), One December Night (2021) Redemption in Cherry Springs (2021) The Requin (2021), The Winter House (2021), The Scottish Play (2021), Wholly Broken (2020), Trick (2019), Dead Sound (2020), Beauty Mark (2019), Above All Things (2018), After the Sun Fell (2017), Lez Bomb (2017), Lost Cat Corona (2016), Junction (2013). As an actress, Summer can be seen and heard in hundreds of national and international television and radio commercial spots (over 700 in her commercial career) as well as in recurring roles in television shows and many feature films.  She also voices multiple characters in several cartoon series. Summer won the 2012 Best Supporting Actress Award at The Long Island International Film Expo, and then again at 2013 IndieFest Los Angeles, for her work in Junction as well as the 2006 New York Innovative Theater Award for Best Actress in a Featured Role for her work in the 25-year revival of Last Summer at Bluefish Cove. She was also nominated for an International Voicey Award for Best Female Voice Talent for her work as a voice-over artist.  Summer is a member in the following unions:  SAG/AFTRA, DGA, PGA, and AEA.
